Preparation

Ingredients:

  • shrimp – 1 kg;
  • rice vinegar - 1 tbsp. spoon;
  • lemon juice – 1 tbsp. spoon;
  • soy sauce – 50 g;
  • ginger root – 30 g;
  • ground black pepper – 0.5 teaspoon;
  • garlic – 3 cloves;
  • sesame oil – 100 ml.

Preparation

Grate the peeled ginger root on a fine grater, pass the garlic through a press. Combine these ingredients with soy sauce, lemon juice, vinegar and pepper. Ingredients:

  • tiger shrimps – 30 pcs.;
  • soy sauce – 60 ml;
  • pomegranate juice – 110 ml;
  • tartar sauce – 60 ml;
  • sesame oil – 50 ml;
  • hot pepper – 1 pc.;
  • brown sugar – 40 g;
  • garlic – 4 cloves;
  • basil – 30 g;
  • cilantro – 30 g.

Preparation

First, prepare the marinade for the shrimp kebab: peel the garlic cloves and pass through a press, add sugar, chopped hot pepper and pour it all with sesame oil, mix, add soy sauce and pomegranate juice. Stir again and heat the mixture over low heat until the sugar dissolves. After this, remove the mass from the heat and let it cool. Place the peeled shrimp in a deep bowl in one layer, pour the prepared marinade over them and leave for 5 hours in a cool place. Pre-soak wooden skewers in water. We string shrimp on them and fry over coals for about 5 minutes. Sprinkle the finished kebab with chopped herbs.

  • Fresh king prawns - 500 g (about 25-30 pcs.).
  • Ginger - half 1 teaspoon.
  • Ground black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon.
  • Green onions - 2-3 bunches.
  • Lemon - 1 pc.
  • Salt - 1/4 teaspoon.
  • Chili pepper - 1 pc. no more than 1-2 cm long.
  • Olive oil - 1 tbsp. spoon.
  • Sugar - 1 teaspoon.

Number of servings: 5.

  1. First of all, the grill is prepared, since the shrimp are not marinated for a long time. Light the coals and wait for them to partially burn until they are covered with ash.
  2. Rinse the shrimp to remove sand and other foreign matter under running water.
  3. Remove the shell, head and tail fin from them and rinse again.
  4. Clean, peeled shrimp should be dried with paper towels and placed in a deep dish.
  5. Free the hot pepper from the stalk and internal contents, chop into small pieces.
  6. Peel the onion, finely chop and add to the shrimp along with the pepper.
  7. Wash the lemon and finely grate the zest from half the fruit into a dish with shrimp, also squeeze out the juice for the marinade.
  8. Peel the ginger, finely grate, add to the rest of the ingredients.
  9. Salt, pepper, add sugar and olive oil.
  10. Cover the container with cling film and place in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
  11. Carefully place the shrimp on the skewers and fry them for about 5 minutes - 2 minutes on each side.

For true seafood connoisseurs, we offer two recipes: a simple one, based on lime or lemon marinade, and an unconventional exotic recipe with vegetables and mango.

Grilled shrimp skewers

Ingredients for 2 servings:

12-15 large (king or tiger) fresh shrimp
- 1 lemon

For the marinade:

- 1 lime or medium lemon
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 teaspoon ground dried chili pepper
– 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- olive oil
- salt (to taste)

Preparation:

1. Take care of skewers in advance. Ideally, buy special bamboo skewers and pre-soak them in cold water for 20 minutes so that they absorb water and do not burn.

2. Since it is better to cook shrimp kebab in the shell, we should first remove the dark-colored vein from them. The vein runs along the back, so you should remove it by making a cut right in the center.

3. Prepare the marinade. Grate the lime zest onto a fine grater, and squeeze the juice out of the lime or lemon itself and mix it with olive oil. Add the squeezed clove of garlic, dried oregano, chili pepper and grated zest into the resulting mixture. Stir the mixture well, add salt and pepper to taste.

4. Dip our shrimp in the marinade and put it in the refrigerator for several hours, periodically looking into it and stirring.

Ingredients:

– 12-13 peeled tiger prawns
- 2 bell red peppers
- 2 mangoes
- 1 onion, preferably red
-2 limes
- a little ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- vegetable oil

Preparation:

1. Prepare bamboo or wooden skewers by first soaking them in water for 10-20 minutes.

2. Cut the peppers and onions into cubes, about 2.5 cm each. Peel the mango and cut it in the same way. Cut 1/5 of the lime into wedges for garnish, and reserve half for drizzle at the end of cooking.

3. Preheat the grill.
