The essentials for a seaside holiday. What to take to the sea from clothes: we make the best list

Most travel, whether it's a vacation abroad, a planned business trip or an outing into nature, is like a multi-level quest. At first, fees, the road, local arrangements, entertainment or business, and then everything is repeated in reverse order, until the inevitable return ...

Experienced travelers say that solving current problems becomes much easier, and the rest is more pleasant if you know exactly what you take with you and what you leave at home.

Universal travel list

Drawing up a universal list of necessary things (having done it once, you can use it all the time) will save not only time, which is sorely lacking before the trip, but also nerves. Based on the main one, it is easy to create other collection instructions tailored to certain parameters: a specific route, climatic conditions, purpose of travel, etc. After all, the “equipment” for skiing will be somewhat different from what you need to take with you on a romantic trip, for example.

So, what to take with you on a trip, the list of the most necessary things:

  • documents (passport, international passport, insurance, driver's license, vaccination certificate, student ID, etc.);
  • tickets;
  • cash, payment cards;
  • guide;
  • notepad and pen, where important phone numbers and addresses will also be written down;
  • phone, camera or video camera;
  • tablet or laptop;
  • portable chargers;
  • hair dryer with comb;
  • things "to go out", home and for sleep;
  • outdoor, beach, shower shoes;
  • headdress for the season;
  • underwear suitable for the selected sets of clothes, socks;
  • cosmetics for care and decorative;
  • personal hygiene products (toothpaste / brush, cotton swabs, shower gel, shampoo, wet wipes, handkerchief, scissors and nail files, deodorant, toothpicks, razor, chewing gum, toilet paper, etc.);
  • . You should take with you on vacation those that you take if you have chronic diseases. And also just in case: lip balm, antispasmodics, antipyretic, antiallergic, motion sickness, activated charcoal (the body may not immediately adapt to a change in the type of water), iodine, patch, broad-spectrum antibiotic, ointment for burns and other skin problems;
  • little things like thread with needles, a mirror, a travel iron, ear plugs, clothespins, tape, an extension cord, a book, a folding knife with a corkscrew, a small board game - can also be useful on vacation;
  • food that is allowed to be carried if a snack is planned on the way.
In the same list, you can write a “reminder” on the top line about some things that you should take care of before the trip. This is copying documents, buying currency, washing things, purchasing medicines, issuing bank cards and choosing a convenient international communication tariff. Also, consider watering the flowers as well.

What to take with you on vacation

If buying point #1 before going on vacation is a pharmacy, then point #2 is clothing stores, especially when traveling with children. You need to take panama hats and thick sweaters with you, even if warm days are predicted. So that your vacation at sea or in a sanatorium is not overshadowed by constant ironing, and when you get off the bus, the outfit does not look “chewed”, it is better to take with you on vacation only what does not wrinkle (or practically does not wrinkle).

Choose clothes that complement each other (like safari-style shorts to match a tank top, t-shirt, etc.) that are comfortable and have been worn at least once. The latter is especially true for shoes. After all, if it turns out on the spot that the fashionable sandals bought the day before rub your feet, you will have to buy new ones. And with these, either part immediately, or drag them back. And who needs "ballast"?

Keep in mind that, in addition to the above things, you will need to take something extra. For example, if you plan to sunbathe on the beach, you need to take a swimsuit, sunglasses, a pareo, sunscreen and burn cream, flip flops and a hat. And for skiing you will need a snowboard jacket and gloves, boots lubricated with a special cream, a fleece jacket, thermal underwear, a hat and protective equipment.

Are you flying by plane? The rules for packing baggage, the size of hand luggage and the list of items and food prohibited for transportation can be found in the article, or on the airline's website.

It is clear that traveling light is more convenient. However, things like a spoonful of spices will affect the taste and aroma of your food, but not the weight of your luggage, which means that it would be foolish to give up your usual comfort. When packing your suitcase, do not forget to leave a place for souvenirs.

If you still missed something, don't worry. The hotel room should have bath towels, soap, bathrobe, shower gel and other important little things. And in order not to forget anything on the way back, it is better to take with you on a trip a list that you were going to.

Are you planning a trip abroad? You need to quickly collect all the most important things, but is there chaos in your head? The list of necessary things on the road from the team will help you pack your bags compactly and quickly, without forgetting anything. website

When you are going on the road, use the rule of two "D" - money and documents. This is a proverb as old as the world, but still relevant and realistic. You need documents so that the world knows who you are; money - so that you can buy everything you need. However, this theory is suitable for desperate optimists ...

List of necessary things for traveling abroad

Thinking about what to take with you on a trip abroad? Can't find the time and energy to pack your bags? In this article, the site offers you a ready-made list of necessary useful things that you need to take on a trip. Organize yourself a comfortable stay, taking the essentials.

1. Money and documents or the Rule of two "D".

For your own convenience and safety, it is great when you keep money and documents separately. It can be a pocket purse that hangs around the neck or a small hip pouch. The good news is that they will not be considered a separate piece of hand luggage.

List of documents:

  • international passports;
  • travel documents, airline tickets, boarding passes;
  • medical insurance;
  • international driver's license, driver's license;
  • documents for the car, Green Card insurance if you travel by your own car;
  • hotel reservations: apartment confirmations;
  • for a child: passport, birth certificate, consent to leave Ukraine if the child travels abroad without parents;
  • personal records: route, addresses, contacts.

Important! Save copies of all passports and documents on a virtual disk (Google, Yandex) or prepare photocopies. You will only need a Ukrainian passport to move within the country.

Take both credit cards and cash with you! Prepare in advance, according to approximate calculations, a certain amount in the currency of the country to which you are traveling. Divide the entire amount of cash into several parts and put them in different places.

2. Equipment and gadgets on the road.

Choose one universal smartphone. Don't overburden yourself. Install useful offline applications: reader, translator, search for hotels and transport, electronic city map. Don't forget your charger. Clear your memory.

What technology is useful when traveling:

  • mobile phone;
  • laptop or tablet (if you need them for work);
  • adapters and chargers, headphones;
  • external hard drive;
  • camera or video camera;
  • navigator (can be replaced by a smartphone);
  • eBook.

Essential items - documents, chargers, gadgets - take in your hand luggage. Then, if your luggage is delayed or lost, you will not be left with anything.

3. Medications to take with you on the road.

When traveling abroad, be sure to take the minimum first aid kit! Some medicines you simply cannot buy because they are not sold without a prescription. Let the most necessary preparations be at hand.

List of medicines that you need to take with you on a trip:

  • painkillers;
  • diarrhea remedies;
  • antipyretic;
  • remedies to relieve the symptoms of a cold;
  • antiallergic drugs;
  • antibiotics;
  • individual medicines for chronic diseases;
  • remedies for injuries;
  • remedies for motion sickness;
  • medicines for snake and insect bites;
  • sunscreen.

Make two first-aid kits, one of which you will always carry with you. Only the most important and individually necessary.

4. Personal hygiene: travel essentials.

Only the minimum! Everything else you can buy in any store.

  • toothbrushes and paste;
  • razor and shaving products;
  • comb;
  • dry and wet wipes;
  • shampoo;
  • soap;
  • shower gel;
  • lipstick, lip gloss;
  • moisturizing cream;
  • sun cream;
  • towels;
  • pocket mirror.

All funds should be poured into small volumes. This saves space in your suitcase and reduces the possibility of leakage. Get your manicure and self-care done before you travel.

5. Necessary clothes for the trip.

It is important to choose comfortable things that will complement each other. For example, several T-shirts for one trousers and shorts, a hat, a pair of street shoes, a jacket, a sweater. You don't need high heels and jewelry, unless you're traveling abroad on tour, of course.

General list of necessary clothes:

  • removable underwear, socks (several pairs);
  • headdress for the season;
  • Sunglasses;
  • outdoor shoes and slippers;
  • pajamas;
  • swimsuit or swimming trunks for the beach, pool, sauna;
  • several T-shirts, shorts, pants, dress;
  • jacket, windbreaker.

Don't bring new shoes. An unworn pair can rub your feet well, and then the pleasure of the trip will be significantly reduced. Try to make yourself as comfortable as possible.

What to take with you to the sea?

  • 2 swimsuits, change of underwear, socks;
  • a light scarf to cover the shoulders;
  • light-colored clothes made from natural fabrics;
  • comfortable sandals, slippers, sneakers;
  • bamboo beach mat
  • sunscreen;
  • towels.

What to take on vacation in the mountains?

  • warm clothes;
  • two pairs of comfortable closed shoes;
  • slippers;
  • several pairs of pants and shorts;
  • several T-shirts;
  • backpack;
  • change of underwear, socks;
  • jacket, windbreaker.

Also useful: medicines for snake and insect bites, a Swiss knife, a corkscrew, a lighter and matches, threads and a needle, a small flashlight.

What to take on the road if you are traveling with a child?

  • absorbent diapers (for small children);
  • antibacterial wipes;
  • paper handkerchiefs;
  • small blanket;
  • spare diapers;
  • light jacket;
  • kangaroo backpack.

Do not forget to prepare baby food for the first time.

What not to take with you on a trip

Of course, when you go on a trip, you want to take on the road all the most important things. However, practice shows that some things during the rest may never be useful to us. Often, this is what is provided by hotels or what can be replaced.

1. Books that you have long wanted to read, but ...

If these books have waited so long, they will wait. Remember that you are going for live experiences. Download them in pdf format and read on the go. Save space in your suitcase for more important things.

2. Hair dryer.

It's more about girls. Every hotel has a hair dryer. If you go to the mountains, you simply do not need it.

3. Iron.

Again, when you stay at a hotel or friends, there is an iron. If your vacation implies a harmonious fusion with nature, dragging an iron will be illogical.

Have a good trip and new experiences!

We wish you a great trip!. The most important thing is that when packing for a trip abroad, you leave a place in your suitcase for shopping and souvenirs. Collect emotions and impressions!

What to take to the sea?
It seems that this skirt, and those slippers, and that disk are vital on a trip. As a result, the suitcase swells to a huge size and does not close.
Minimum items required!

Not forget!!!
Passport (foreign passport), tickets, insurance, hotel reservation (voucher, voucher), money, credit cards. Make sure that the passport has a visa (for traveling abroad), that the insurance covers all cases that may occur. It is also worth stocking up on the address and phone numbers of the embassy if you are going to rest in another country.

List by category.

1. Items of clothing and footwear:
- a couple of changes of underwear
- swimsuit (2)
- skirt/shorts (2 pieces)
- t-shirt, t-shirt, top (2-3 pcs.) and t-shirt (t-shirt) with long sleeves (1 pc.)
- Lightweight jeans and trousers
- sweater (in case of cold weather)
- socks (2 pairs)

Think about where you will be walking.
If there is any evening entertainment (clubs, parties), take something for them.
For such exits, you should not take half the cabinet. A pair of bright blouses (or an evening top) will suffice, which will harmonize well with existing skirts or trousers, as well as spectacular jewelry. For men, it seems to me that you don’t need to take anything special. Jeans, a light-colored shirt or t-shirt is the best look for a beach party.
If there is a desire and a place in a suitcase, then you can add beautiful sandals for evening outings to a disco or a bar.

Shoes to take with you to the sea:
- beach shoes (slates or flip flops or sandals)
- light shoes for the street and excursions

2. Hygiene products:
- Toothbrush
- soap
- shower gel/shampoo
- towel, one large and one medium
- sanitary pads or tampons
- wipes, plain and wet
- shaving products

3. Cosmetics:
- decorative cosmetics (it is better to take waterproof and do not need to take a lot of decorative cosmetics, in the heat it only prevents the skin from breathing).
- creams before, from, for, after sunburn
- milk or cream to moisturize the skin

4. Miscellaneous:
- camera/camcorder
- telephone
- chargers for the above
- Sunglasses
- headdress
- Beach bag
- travel wallet
- comb
- hair accessories

What to take with you to the sea from medicines
A first aid kit with a minimum set should also be at hand, especially in exotic places.
The required set includes:
- band-aid (excursions are always a lot of walking)
- headache tablets
- cotton wool and bandages
- Activated carbon
- hydrogen peroxide
- from diarrhea
And, of course, if you are allergic to something or have any diseases, take medicines for them too.

So, let's get down to business. We sort things in this way (each item has its own bag): shoes, underwear, wrinkled things, non-wrinkled things, trousers (fold along the seam and double in half).
Choose a container - a suitcase or a travel bag.

Shoes are located at the bottom, in the gaps between them there are socks and underwear rolled up into rollers, then those gadgets that were not included in hand luggage and will not be needed by us to our destination. All the remaining things, except for trousers, are stacked in an expanded form so that those that are wrinkled are laid with two or three non-wrinkling items of clothing (shirts will thus be in the middle). Pants will be the filling of this peculiar sandwich. Now it remains only to cross the sleeves in front, fold the entire structure in half and put it in a suitcase.

There will be room on the side for a travel bag (French necessaire, literally necessary), 1) a travel case or a small suitcase with toilet items. 2) A box with a set of accessories for needlework or sewing), which must be placed so that it is easy to use it when needed.

So that your vacation does not turn out to be spoiled because you forgot something, you need to pack your things in advance. If you gather immediately on the eve of departure abroad, this is exactly what will happen.

Before you go shopping to buy something new, you should clearly determine what exactly you need.

To do this, you need to sit down and, slowly, deliberately make the right list of everything that you might need.

You should not include in this list all your wardrobe for the summer, which you wear in the city, it is unlikely to be useful to you at sea.

Take a minimum of things with you, and you do not have to exhaust yourself with a heavy suitcase. Do not take things "just in case" and yet - take care not to lose sight of everything you need.

Things to travel

  1. first aid kit;
  2. Documentation;
  3. Personal hygiene products;
  4. Technique;
  5. Cloth;
  6. Leisure items;
  7. Other accessories you may need.

What will be useful on the road?

  • It is advisable to prepare for the flight in advance. Be sure to check the availability of documents necessary for check-in for the flight: passports and visas (civilian and foreign), birth certificates for minor children, tickets - everything should be at hand.
  • The food is pretty good on the plane., so you don’t need to take food with you, you don’t have to worry about soft drinks either. If you are flying to the sea with a small child, then you should think about how he does not remain hungry. The flight sometimes takes quite a long time, so take the child a toy so that he can occupy himself for a while.
  • Take care of the necessary personal hygiene items. Be sure to have wet wipes, toothbrushes and paste, a small towel and soap.
  • For those who do not tolerate the flight very well, you can grab some distractions (sucking lozenges, special pills, bracelets, etc.).
  • On board the aircraft, of course, there is a first aid kit. but it’s still better to play it safe and put anti-nausea, antipyretic, and painkillers in your purse.

first aid kit

At sea, you may need medicines. It’s good if you manage to relax without them, but still it’s worth making sure. Especially if you are flying with children.

Climate change, water changes, and just an occasional cold should not spoil your holiday.

You may need:

  • Activated carbon;
  • Pain reliever;
  • Febrifuge;
  • Hydrogen peroxide;
  • Adhesive plaster;
  • Ointments or creams against mosquitoes and other insects.

Documentation

In addition to the documents that you will take directly on the plane (passport, insurance), you must not forget:

  • Return flight tickets;
  • Documents from the travel agency confirming the booking of accommodation;
  • Driving license (just in case);
  • Permission of parents to export the child;
  • Cash and bank cards;
  • Photocopies of the most important documents;
  • Travel insurance.

Personal care products

Hygiene products can also be bought on the spot. But in order to immediately put yourself in order after the flight on the day of arrival, and not run headlong in search of soap or something else in the shops, it is better to take everything you need with you.

Take:

  • Fragrant soap;
  • Favorite shampoo;
  • Shower gel;
  • Washcloth or sponge;
  • comb;
  • Wet wipes;
  • Toothbrushes;
  • toothpaste;
  • Shaving accessories.

  • Creams, gels, tanning oils you must take it if you plan to acquire a beautiful and even skin tone;
  • Creams that protect the skin from sunburn will be needed for children and people with fair skin, so as not to get burned on the first day and then spend the rest of the vacation in the room, tormented by pain and looking with envy at the swimmers and sunbathers. Moreover, these funds should be both for the face and for the body.
  • Skin moisturizing and cooling products after sun exposure will be needed to strengthen the tan and help your skin recover.
  • Moisturizing face creams, hands and feet;
  • Good deodorant.
  • Lip balm so that they do not dry out from the scorching sun.

You should not take a lot of decorative cosmetics with you to the sea.

It is better to use decorative cosmetics on vacation as little as possible.

But if there is absolutely no way without cosmetics, then take:

  • powder;
  • waterproof mascara;
  • Shadows;
  • Light lipstick.

On the beach, a woman with bright makeup will look at least strange. Although, if you go to a night bar or restaurant, you can still bring some beauty.

Technique

There is also no need to take a lot of equipment at sea. Give your electronic devices a break.

If you don't need a laptop while you're on vacation, it's best to leave it at home.

  • Camera, video camera are, of course, essential when traveling by sea. How else can you capture beautiful places, sights, yourself and your loved ones against the backdrop of this beauty?
  • Mobile phone- also a necessary thing, you can’t do without it.
  • Phone charger and cameras.

Cloth

The number of clothes will depend on several factors: where exactly you are going, what kind of cultural program will be, how long you will be at sea.

But anyway it shouldn't be too much. Moreover, for sure you will want to buy something new on the spot.

Clothing for men

Men in this regard are more practical, they take a minimum of things with them.

  • Beach clothes

The most important thing at sea is swimwear. Take two swimming trunks, that will be enough.

A light-colored baseball cap or hat will protect your head from sun exposure and is suitable both on the beach and on a walk or excursion.

  • Everyday things. Two shorts, a pair of T-shirts, a bright shirt, a light windbreaker and cotton jeans (in case it suddenly gets colder) - perhaps this set will be enough for the rest, including evening walks. From underwear - two shorts or swimming trunks.
  • Shoes. Take a pair of flip-flops, they are suitable for the beach and for walking. Just in case, you can also grab light moccasins.
  • Other.

Don't forget to take everything you need for a shave if you don't want to turn into Robinson Crusoe during your seaside vacation.

Clothes for women

As a rule, women are more whimsical and less practical than men when it comes to clothing. They sometimes think that literally everything is useful.

Do not judge them too harshly, because they dress up solely to please men. And quite a bit to flaunt in new clothes in front of each other.

And yet you need to limit yourself to a minimum of outfits:

  • Bathing and beachwear. The main part of a woman's wardrobe at sea is swimwear. Take two - open and closed, they do not take up much space, but they will allow you to be different. A bright stylish pareo will perfectly complement a beach outfit and serve as a "cover" from the sun's rays. In addition, a pareo can also replace a sundress.
  • Casual wear. A pair of sundresses, a top, shorts or breeches is a sufficient set for walking, visiting cafes and excursions. Jeans and a light windbreaker will come in handy in cool weather.
  • Evening wear. Evening dress as such you do not need. After all, the same vacationers go to cafes, restaurants and nightclubs. Moreover, in an evening dress you will look out of place there. A bright sundress, shorts or a skirt with a fashionable light top are quite suitable for this purpose.
  • Underwear. A pair of underwear sets will be enough for you. You can also grab a nightgown.
  • Shoes. You can also wear comfortable flip-flops for the beach while walking. For excursions, prepare shoes without heels. If you still decide to show off in an evening dress, you will need sandals, preferably with stilettos.
  • Hats. It all depends on your imagination and style.

As a headdress, you can wear a wide-brimmed hat, bandana, baseball cap, or you can use a beautiful silk scarf.

Children's clothing

Every mother is absolutely sure that she knows exactly what clothes her child needs. This is true, but it is important not to overdo it here.

Babies don't need as many things as a mom might think.

A few tips for traveling couples with children:

  1. If you have an infant, take a casual set of clothes for him. There must be several panamas, a sufficient number of swimming trunks, T-shirts, T-shirts, a tracksuit, light shoes.
  2. You will also need diapers., a potty and a small stroller (it is better to take a folding one).

It is worth recalling that all clothes for children should be made from natural materials, preferably cotton. And no synthetics!

Children under 7

Small children are big fidgets, they often get dirty, therefore, they will need a little more clothes.

4-5 panties, the same number of T-shirts, shorts and T-shirts, a pair of panama hats, comfortable light pants and a windbreaker, slippers and sandals from shoes.

Children over 7 years old

If your child is over 7 years old, then for his equipment for vacation, you can focus on tips for adults.

Leisure items

If you have already bought such necessary things on the beach as an air mattress, a children's circle, an umbrella, a pump, then it is better to take them with you so as not to buy again.

Other accessories

  • An obligatory accessory for a holiday at sea is sunglasses;
  • Earplugs;
  • Mask for sleep;
  • Writing pen;
  • personal business cards;
  • Food for a snack;
  • Towels: for the shower and for the beach;
  • A bedspread, mat or rug on which you will sunbathe on the beach.

Things You Can Do Without

  • You do not need to take dishes with you. Crockery is available in most private apartments or family rooms in hotels. Most likely, you will eat either in a hotel or in a cafe.
  • Decorations and jewels.
  • You can not take some personal hygiene items(soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo), because it doesn't cost a lot of money and you can buy a lot of it in the country where you plan to travel.
  • Slippers can also be found in many hotel rooms or bought for a penny in local stores.

The preparations are over, finally the long-awaited flight... Sea, sun, beach... If you haven't forgotten anything, your trip to the sea will be pleasant and unforgettable!

Print out your to-do list

You can get and print a ready-made list of things for a trip from me by leaving your e-mail on the link page.

Conveniently, after printing out this list of things, you can check off what you have already packed in your suitcase.

Probably, everyone has faced such a situation: when you are going on a trip, you throw in the suitcase the things you need, as it seemed at that moment, things, and when you arrive at the place, it turns out that you have forgotten that, and this is not enough ... And the most harmless if it is a toothbrush a brush or even a bathing suit - in the end, all this can be bought. Worse, if you forgot that thanks to which you can buy everything. And it’s really bad if you forgot your passport when going overseas. Our portal, which has compiled a universal list of what you need to take on a trip, for its readers who are going on vacation, will help to facilitate fees and eliminate unpleasant surprises.

A universal list of things to take with you on vacation

Smart people make a list of everything they need to take with them before they travel. But even here, not everything is cheerful, because you can forget to add important things to the cherished list, but write down what you won’t need at all later. Yes, and compiling it before each trip is annoying ... Our portal will make life easier for travelers: we offer a universal list of things that you should take when going on the road, whether it's a vacation, a business trip or any other long trip. And it’s up to you to decide what to take from this list and what to leave at home.

Be sure to add paper and scanned copies of documents to the list of things to take on a trip. It is better to store the first ones separately from documents, the second ones - in cloud servers or by sending them to your e-mail. In case of loss of documents, copies will simplify the procedure for obtaining new ones at the consulate.

Documents opens a list of things that you need to take on a trip. Clothes, cosmetics, food - everything can be bought. Without documents, nothing. As they say, without a piece of paper you are an insect ... Therefore, the first thing you need to take when planning a trip is documents, especially if you are going abroad:

  1. identity card - passport / international passport;
  2. driver license;
  3. insurance policy;
  4. photocopy of the passport;
  5. travel document of the child;
  6. tickets;
  7. a card with a name, phone number, which you need to put in your luggage (in case you get lost);
  8. certificate of vaccination (if necessary);
  9. medical card, referral (if you are going to a sanatorium).

Experienced travelers are advised to take paper and scanned copies of documents with you on a trip and store the first ... separately from documents, the second - in cloud servers or by sending them to your e-mail. If, God forbid, a nuisance happens (loss, theft of documents), photocopies will simply save you - they will simplify the procedure for obtaining documents at the consulate.

Money/credit cards/cheques. Even if you are traveling on an all inclusive program, you need to have the currency at least for unforeseen cases - medical treatment that is not covered by the insurance policy, unexpected changes in the program of stay on a tour package ... You should always have a small part of the money with you - in a reliable secret pocket. Larger amounts are best kept in a hotel safe. In addition to cash, it is obligatory to have credit cards of at least Classic / Standard / Gold class, and it is desirable that at least one of them be chip.

Cloth. This part concerns mainly women who sin by the desire to take half a closet on vacation. And then they complain that "five more dresses remained undressed." The basic principle of clothing for leisure: natural materials, convenience, versatility, ease of care. Therefore, no silk, synthetic, wrinkled outfits and 13-centimeter heels. But you can take a few more pieces of underwear than days of rest. And a couple extra T-shirts wouldn't hurt. So, here is what kind of clothes a place in the suitcase of a vacationer, more precisely, a vacationer:

  1. long practical dark trousers;
  2. long skirt - useful (like long trousers) on cool evenings and when visiting holy places where you can’t appear with bare body parts;
  3. shorts;
  4. jeans / leggings;
  5. several cotton T-shirts, T-shirts;
  6. a light blouse with long sleeves: on excursions, thrown over the shoulders, it will protect from sunburn, in the evening, tied in a knot under the chest, with a long skirt, it will attract glances at you in a restaurant;
  7. 2-3 light dresses / sundresses of universal models that are suitable for both an evening event and a daytime walk around the city;
  8. tunic dress (ideally with pockets): you can wear it on the beach, on an excursion (with shorts, leggings), and in a restaurant (with a long skirt);
  9. jacket/windbreaker/hooded jacket: even if it's +30 outside, it can come in handy on a crazy air-conditioned bus;
  10. shoes: bright flip-flops (for the shower, for the beach, for breakfast/lunch), sneakers or soft, comfortable low-speed shoes, stylish sandals suitable both for a restaurant and for a walk, coral slippers - if you are going to the sea with a rocky bottom or an abundance of sea urchins (in Croatia, for example);
  11. socks (nylon, cotton);
  12. swimsuit;
  13. pareo: to the beach, for a walk as protection of the shoulders from the sun, on excursions to temples - to cover your hair, shoulders ... and also as a beautiful accessory to a plain dress in a restaurant;
  14. headwear (hat, panama, baseball cap…);
  15. sunglasses;
  16. thin raincoat.

Practical things that are often forgotten, but that you may need at any time, are also worth taking on a trip:

  1. umbrella;
  2. flashlight;
  3. penknife (the main thing is not to transfer in hand luggage);
  4. mosquito spray;
  5. notebook, pencil / pen;
  6. powerbank;
  7. charging for a mobile phone;
  8. camera;
  9. flash drive;
  10. hermetic case for mobile, keys, papers (useful on the beach);
  11. Beach bag;
  12. wipes for intimate hygiene and wet disinfectants;
  13. country or city guide, map, phrasebook;
  14. travel pillow (especially if you travel by bus);
  15. scotch;
  16. travel set of threads / needles;
  17. for entertainment in rainy weather: a book, crossword puzzles, cards and other games.

First aid kit. Even taking into account the fact that you have paid for a medical policy or are going to a sanatorium, a small first-aid kit should be on the list of things. If you go to the mountains, you go wild, the first-aid kit should be "bigger". Here is the minimum you need to take on vacation:
