Blood Axes Clan

Blood Ax Clan known for its totem - the sign of bloody crossed axes. They always have a lot of disagreements with any other clan - disagreements not just due to the natural hostility of the clans among the orc race. Some Orcs suspect that this is the result of the instigation of the Imperium of Man, the secret patron of the Blood Ax clan. The Imperium uses the Blood Axes as a fifth column to infiltrate Ork society and as a buffer clan to absorb any unrest among the Orks.

This clan was once very powerful, and easily dominated orc society for a long time. When they started having too many friendly dealings with outsiders (especially humans), it was too much for the other clans. The result was a war known as the Great Civil War. The clan continues to deal with humans to this day, having become dependent on subsidies from the Imperium. Imperial subsidies are secret.

The clan does not use much Imperial equipment, mainly because the authorities of the Imperium prefer to pay for the alliance of the Blood Axes with their own currency, rather than weapons. However, there are independent merchants who still trade weapons with the orcs.

While the Imperium does not overtly arm the Blood Axes, the influence of the Imperial military style is clear to everyone. Clan warriors have many heavy weapons of Imperial production, wear uniforms, camouflage, and have insignia. The clan's military is as disciplined as an orc can possibly be. Warlords have a better understanding of strategy than the commanders of other clans. Among the officers of the clan, such purely Imperial elements as epaulettes, medals, monocles, caps and other decor are popular.

As a result, the Blood Ax troops are more of a regular disciplined army than a wild crowd of warriors. Naturally, in the opinion of the orcs of other clans, all this is completely un-orcish! But along with these attributes, the clan usually decorates the back plates with the symbol of the clan, earrings in the shape of an ax, black or blue military paint. The favorite hand-to-hand weapon of the Blood Axes is naturally the axe. As per clan tradition, Blood Axes do not wipe the blood from their blades after battle.

Drops of blood dripped from the inscription to the floor. In huge letters on the wall was written: I WARNED! Directly under the inscription, on the floor, lay pieces of meat, eyes, teeth, yellow bones. Nicholas fell to his knees, tears flowed from his eyes, red tears.

***
Four days ago.
- Do not open your eyes, just a little more.
- Kolya, what a childhood, - the young girl smiled.
- All right, open it.
A young couple stood in the living room of their new apartment. Alexandra, Nikolai's wife, was in seventh heaven, finally her own apartment.
- Thank you, - Sasha kissed her beloved.
First night in a new apartment. Kolya couldn't sleep. He got up several times and just wandered around the apartment. That night, the young man could not sleep. In the morning, Kolya noticed that not everything was in order. In the kitchen, there was a pot filled with water on the stove. The young man asked Sasha why she took the pan, but in response he received only a puzzled look.
- Maybe you were sleepwalking - Sasha smiled, kissed her husband and went to work.
Kolya worked at home, he traded on the stock exchange, so he spent a lot of time at the computer.
Second night in a new apartment. That night Kolya fell asleep normally, but soon woke up from a strange clicking sound. The young man got up and walked towards the sound. The clicking came from the living room. What Nicholas saw put him in a stupor. The laptop that Nikolay worked on was turned on, and the keys were pressed by themselves. The inscription appeared on the screen: GET OUT OF MY APARTMENT OR I WILL KILL YOUR WIFE!!!
Kolya rubbed his eyes trying to wake up. When he opened his eyes, he realized that he was lying in bed, and Sasha was sleeping next to him. In the morning, Nikolai told his wife everything, but she said that it was just a bad dream.
Third night in a new apartment. Kolya tried to drive the stranger away, but instead of words, air came out of his mouth. Something still continued to sit in the chair, but Kolya still knelt in the center of the living room. In the morning, the young man did not remember how he ended up in his bed again, but he perfectly remembered the stranger's night visit. Nikolai did not tell Alexandra anything.

Hello, Denis We need to meet, I need your help. Nikolai met with his old friend, who now worked in the police. Kolya did not tell him anything, but simply asked to know the history of his apartment. What Denis said was terrible. It turns out that not so long ago there was a mass murder in the apartment. The husband and father killed his entire family, shouting: get out of my apartment. After that, he dismembered the bodies and collected pieces of meat with bones in one big pile.
“Now I understand why I bought it so cheaply,” Kolya sighed. The young man walked around the apartment waiting for his beloved. Kolya wanted to leave this apartment as soon as possible.
- My God, no! Looking out the window, Nikolai could not believe his eyes. Literally a second ago it was light outside, but now it seems to be night. Kolya ran into the bedroom. Late. Sasha was already in bed, and seemed to be sleeping peacefully. Kolya grabbed his beloved by the hand and tried to lift him up, but Sasha's body remained on the bed, and her hand remained in Nikolai's hands. The body was dismembered. Red spots began to appear on the sheet. There was a knock on the door, then again, the door creaked. Nicholas turned around. Blood stains crawled along the wall, which soon turned into an inscription: I WARNED!
Kolya fell to his knees. He couldn't see what was going on behind him. A huge man with a bloodied ax in his hands appeared out of nowhere. Ax swing...

A little about orcs

“We go, we go, this one we go!
We go, we go - through space!
Here we go, here we go, this one we go!
We are going - through Biskanechnast!
We go, we go, this one we go!
As soon as we arrive, we will find out!”
Ork space chant, usually sung when loading onto a space hulk or ship.

Orcs are an alien people who are born and die on the battlefield (in the truest sense of the word - after all, after death, an orc or gretchin releases spores, from which new generations of greenskins then grow).
Orcs are a wild, rough and war-loving race. They are the dominant element of the Orkoid race, which includes Orcs and their lesser relatives, Gretchin or Grots and Snotlings. Since the orcs are larger and tougher than the rest of the orkoids, they logically form the warrior elite of the race. They command Gretchin and Snotlings, often treating them as chattel. This status quo, however, is not without benefit to the lesser Orkoids, as the Orks also protect and care for them. Without it, the life of the Gretchin and Snotlings could be much worse.
PHYSIOLOGY
Orcs are a symbiosis of animals and plants, which explains the green color of their skin and amazing regeneration capabilities. (So, for example, an orc, with some luck, can survive decapitation and head transplantation on the body of another orc). Orcs reproduce by spores, which are separated from the orc during his whole life and sleep abundantly after death. Once in the soil, the spores germinate and develop into a cocoon, from which an orc, gretchin, snotling, or squig subsequently emerges. The older, and therefore larger and stronger, the orc, the greater the chance of a full-fledged orc from his spores. Although much depends on the environmental conditions in which cocoons germinate and develop. Orcs grow by winning battles, and therefore the larger the Orc, the stronger he is.
Orkoids and their subspecies
Orcs are the pinnacle of an ecosystem constantly being created around them by dispersed spores. Elements of this system:
Mold. Orcoid embryos.
Squiggy. Non-sentient beings that exist in many forms. The average squig looks like a bubble with a toothy mouth, a tail and a pair of legs, about the size of a dog, but there are such exotic types as hair squigs (which wealthy orcs wear on their heads to mimic hair) or exploding squigs (bred as a weapon for the ability under severe stress (for example, if an orc grabs him and throws him) explode due to a sharply rising pressure in the stomachs). Squigs usually feed on orc waste and serve as food for the orcs themselves.
Snotlings. A small parody of orcs, the size of a three-year-old child. They have an instinctive understanding of Squigs and are good at cultivating mold, which is why they are employed in Ork "farming" or play the role of Ork pets.
Gretchin are small green-skinned creatures that act as labor force. The orc hierarchy is built on strength and size. Therefore, gretchins (or grottoes) were the lowest class.
Orcs. Actually orcs are large and powerful creatures, the top of the pyramid.
CUSTOMS
According to customs, after the battle, only the Warboss (also Big Boss or War Leader) can choose the trophies he likes - the biggest, strongest and greenest orc.

An innate knowledge of technology allows orcs to forge weapons directly from scrap metal. Sometimes a special orc, a mek, is born from a cocoon. Meks have more technical knowledge than other Orks, and can even assemble a spaceship.
Orcs believe that red-painted vehicles go faster. And it really does run! However, attempts to dye gretchins red, oddly enough, did not lead to an increase in productivity.
The orc's brain has two leading centers. One of them is stimulated by loud sounds, the second by the sensation of speed. When orcs are excited by loud noises, such as the roar of battle, or the joy of riding very fast, they feel an unparalleled happiness.
The orcs' currency is teeth, so the brutality of an orc's weaponry often depends on the number of teeth it has. To intimidate enemies (and often allies), orc bosses hang themselves with necklaces, bandages with the teeth of defeated enemies, or fangs of their tribesmen knocked out in a recent drunken fight. Teeth are also used in the construction of saw blades (chain swords). Because orc teeth are tough, these saw blades are as good as those of the Empire. All kinds of spiked armor is also made of teeth.
ORIGIN
According to the legends of the orcs themselves, once there was the main race of the greenskins - clever ones who changed the genetics of their kind, transferred the reproduction of the species to the level of spores and actually created what is now called "orcology" by imperial science. At the moment, orcology is a fairly simple scheme. The spores of any individual greenskin develop along the following chain: squigs (animals), snotlings (a primitive form of intelligent life), grottos (aka gretchins or goblins) and, only if there are enough lower forms around, orcs.
Imperial scientists believe that the orcs are indeed an artificially created species, an out-of-control biological weapon of some dead (extinct or destroyed by the orcs themselves) civilization. Much points to an artificial origin - in particular, the fact that the skills of creating and using weapons are built directly into the genetic code of the orcs, which is why even grown up in complete isolation from their species, "mowgli" orcs are able to collect weapons (and more complex things, up to heavy military equipment) from improvised means and go to war.
LANGUAGE
Orcs speak garbled Low Gothic, but their fangs prevent them from pronouncing the words correctly. They cannot pronounce the letter "h" and the ending "er". In writing, "er" is replaced by "a". Therefore, for example, "hunter" (hunter) is pronounced as "unta", "shooter" (shooter) as "shoota", etc. In addition, orcs cannot pronounce "th", and they voice it as "f". For example: "teef", "fings", and "fose" instead of "teeth", "things", and "those". Orcs also pronounce words ending in "s" more harshly, replacing "s" with "z" (Slugga Boyz, Grotz, Mad Dokz, etc.). In general, orc speech is similar to cockney-like slang. There is no single standard for translating into Russian - some translators, for example, force Orcs to communicate with an accent (although the imitation of existing accents, such as Caucasian or Ukrainian, looks simply ridiculous).

Appearance

After the Iron Horde attacked Azeroth, Shro "Gar began to look much more formidable, thereby standing out from the rest of his people. His entire body is covered in tattoos of animals and weapons that cover large and heavy armor. Now, after killing each enemy, an orc he tattoos himself in the form of an opponent's weapon or the beast he killed. These designs are distributed throughout the body of the Ax.And when, say, there is no place for a tattoo on his arm, Shro draws it directly on top of other tattoos.
He has rather rough facial features, and the orc's nose is almost invisible to other people because of the long and sharp fangs. Since the warrior is a veteran of the Third War, the Outland campaign, the campaign against the Lich King, Cataclysm and Pandaria, many battle scars are visible on the face of the bruiser. There are also several wounds on the orc's chest, but they cannot be seen due to the images of tools and animals on Shro'Gar's torso.
Previously, there was a huge and untidy hair of a dark purple hue on the head of the grunt, and now the warrior shaved his hair with a knife and tied it into a small ponytail, and the same algorithm happened to the beard as with the hairstyle.
Throughout his life, from training and battles, the orc has acquired a muscular physique that will make any opponent rethink his mind: whether to go to him openly or not. After the battle with the bloody knight Teardan, he lost his left arm and right leg, including his tattoo. But after that he went into one battle against the Burning Legion and the Abyss, during which, miraculously, Shro "Gar had limbs that were as similar as possible to those that were before their loss along with tattoos.

Character

Perseverance. Shro "Gar always goes to his goal, without turning around or stopping. His weapon, the Bloody Axe, cuts the enemies of the Horde in half and this is what makes the orc more confident in himself because he deserves this relic. The warrior does things only on the basis of out of honesty and the correctness of the choice, and if something does not work out, the warrior looks for a way out of the problem and most often overcomes it.
Bloodlust. Shro "Gar, like his own clan, is hungry for battle. The orc has been able to kill many enemies in all his military activities, from pathetic people to dreadlords. He fought all his life and never let go of a weapon. Destroy someone in the name of the Horde - the meaning of the life of the Bloody Axe.
Friendliness. Despite the last point, the grunt does not mind drinking with representatives of his faction. Shro will consider a friend as a brother if he proves his faith and love for his faction. With the Bloody Axes, no one always quarreled or cursed, and rarely went out to the poppy "mountain".
In his free time, the orc hangs out with his siblings by drinking all the grog out of his pitcher.

Capabilities

The Bloody Ax is a family heirloom of the same name. These weapons are passed down from generation to generation by the orcs, selecting those worthy to use them. Shro "Gar is no exception. He defeated his brothers in a duel and his former owner, Val" Gar Bloodaxe. After that, the orc received the relic and still uses it.

Shro "Gar not only lightly beats the enemy. He unleashes all the rage on him, chopping off limbs and heads, especially demons, for which the orc is popular in his circles. This is how the Ax killed the mad wolf.

Shro strikes very quickly and dexterously, even if he has prosthetic arms and legs, with which he can barely move due to the fact that the new limbs are rusted. Therefore, Shro "Gar has to knead them, fighting in a friendly duel with his comrades. And so, the orc moves very quickly, which gives the warrior a head start to win. These skills are given to him with an eagle tattoo.

Shro "Gar is a worthy destroyer of demons. He fought with the Burning Legion from his youth and knows all their tricks. From the wrist to the shoulder of his left hand, tattoos of demonic weapons and images of the flaming monsters themselves are stuffed.

After the Iron Horde attacked Azeroth, Shro'Gar began to look much more formidable, thereby standing out from the rest of his people.

Before that, nothing special stood out. An ordinary guy from the court of Orgrimmar.

His entire body is covered in tattoos of animals and weapons, which are covered with large and heavy armor.

Covered in tattoos...
Animals and weapons

Big and heavy armor? Are the armor big and light?

The ax has rather rough facial features, and the orc's nose is almost invisible to other people because of the long and sharp fangs.

Not an orc, not Shro "Gar, but the Ax has rough facial features. Maybe it should have been quoted?
The nose is not visible to other people? How about other races?
The fangs seem to have grown right into the nose, or they are so huge that they cover not only the nose but also the floor of the face.

Since he is a veteran of the Third War, the Outland campaign, the campaign against the Lich King, Cataclysm, and Pandaria, the bruiser's face shows many battle scars.

Non-veterans of almost all WoW addons are not supposed to have scars.

Previously, Shro's head had a huge and untidy hair of a dark purple hue,

Orc informal? Orc hipster?

and now the warrior shaved his hair and tied it in a small ponytail, and the same algorithm happened with the beard as with the hairstyle.

The hair was removed from the head, neatly gathered and tied into small tails. Carries with him?

Throughout his life, from training and battle, the orc has acquired a muscular physique that attracts many orcs,

There were only weak suckers and nerds around, and Shrogar was the only one.

because of one of them, he has three Blood Ax heirs.

It's all her fault...

After the battle with the bloody knight Teardan, he lost his left arm and right leg, but after that he went into one battle against the Burning Legion and the Abyss, during which, miraculously, Shro Gar appeared limbs that were as similar as possible to those that were before their loss.

> lost his left arm and right leg, but then went into the same battle against the Burning Legion and the Abyss

Disabled on the battlefield. Why not?

> miraculously, Shro"Gara has limbs that are as similar as possible to those that were before their loss.
Cancer can't do that.

The character of an orc is simply something magnificent.

His weapon, the Bloody Axe, cuts the enemies of the Horde in half and this is what makes the orc more confident in himself.

Without an axe, an orc sometimes doubts his abilities. At such moments, he begins to look for the enemy in order to cut him in two. And if she was cut into two, does her self-confidence decrease?

A warrior fought all his life and never let go of his weapon

Released?

The ax strikes very quickly and dexterously, even if it has prosthetic arms and legs, with which it can barely move due to the fact that the new limbs are rusted. Therefore, Shro "Gar has to knead them, fighting in a friendly duel with his comrades. And so, the orc moves very quickly, which gives the warrior a head start to win.

Again, the quotes are missing.

>very fast and agile, even if he has prosthetic arms and legs that he barely moves with

Quickly and dexterously moves barely moving prostheses. Cool.

> that the new limbs are rusted. Therefore, Shro "Gar has to knead them, fighting in a friendly duel with his comrades

The lubrication of moving mechanisms is the lot of suckers.

Shro "Gar is now in the Tanaan jungle, and three days earlier he was on Azeroth to give the Bloody Ax to his family. He believes that the relic should not belong to him because he did not die during a duel with the blood elf Teardan. Now The orc carries the runeblade Bloody Destroyer, which is enchanted with impenetrable runes that will not destroy the weapon.

Return the family heirloom to the family. In fact, everything is different.
Shrogar upgraded and became a proud wearer of rusty prostheses. The old, boring Bloody Ax has become commonplace and typical. Therefore, we will replace it with (!) RUNED BLADE BLOODY CRUSHER (explosion FX behind*)

Promised three years, but still waiting. So today on the air - Richard Wagner.

Even during his lifetime, Wagner split the world into two halves: those who idolized him and those who hated him. Average was not given.

According to contemporaries, Wagner was a person, to put it mildly, not a very pleasant one: an ardent anti-Semite (flatly refusing Jewish conductors to perform his operas), a terrible spender, a terrible proud man who attacked all his colleagues (such as Rossini or Verdi) with accusations of that their music is "candied boredom", he suffered from a fundamental disregard for morality and remorse. Wagner stole from his friend, the conductor von Bülow, his wife; took away from the architect Semper his project for an opera in Munich, without the consent of the author, brought it to life in Bayreuth; taking advantage of the favor of King Ludwig II of Bavaria (who, unfortunately, was not of this world), he tried to govern the state - which turned out to be very bad for him ... In the end, even Nietzsche renounced their long-standing friendship, saying that Wagner was not worthy to die in his living room: people like him deserve only death in prison. With all this, Wagner, with the financial support of the aforementioned Ludwig II, built the aforementioned opera house in Bayreuth - and became the only composer in the history of music to have his own opera house at his disposal, where, according to the will, only his own operas can be staged. One gets the impression that Wagner fundamentally “walked over corpses”, disregarding all the norms of a decent person’s behavior: the main thing is that he made his dreams come true - and how many heads flew in the process ...

However, let's leave alone the human essence of Wagner and move on to his work. Completely refuting Pushkin's assertion that "genius and villainy are two incompatible things," Wagner was a brilliant operatic reformer. He owns fundamentally new harmonies (in particular, the famous "Tristan chord"), the introduction of such concepts as "Wagnerian soprano" or "Wagnerian baritone" and two operatic innovations: the leitmotif structure and the so-called "endless melody". Leitmotif - a musical theme associated with a recurring plot element or character (that is, the appearance of one character is constantly accompanied by one theme); and “endless melody” is the merging of an entire operatic act into one continuous act, where there are no clear divisions between arias, duets or recitatives. These principles have become widely used by other composers. Wagner considered the opera "the drama of the future" and argued that composers are now a priori unable to create a "real opera": with a minimum of theatricality and a maximum of vitality plus entertainment. True, he took the first steps for this: in particular, in his theater he was the first to turn off the lights in the hall during the performance, and also hid the orchestra pit under stage, believing that the music should be only a background to the ongoing action. In principle, modern film soundtracks fall under the ideals of Wagner. I wonder what he would say...

By the way, Wagner was, in general, a fantasy composer: he considered the epic the most suitable plot for an opera. So almost all of his operas are written on fantastic plots, where gods, mermaids, giants, ghosts and others like them act.

Wagner also suffered from ineradicable gigantism: he could only fit his "Ring of the Nibelungen" into a tetralogy. Needless to say, he owns the longest arias and duets in the history of music. You can end the lyrical introduction with an excerpt from Pratchett, who in his "Fifth Elephanta" passed through Wagner as a brilliant parody:

– Sam! called Mistress Sibylla, walking through the crowd. “Blood Ax and Iron Hammer will be given here!” Great, right?

“It's opera, sir,” Shelley whispered. - Part of the Kobold cycle. Our history. Every dwarf knows it by heart.

“I played the part of the Iron Hammer at the boarding school for noble maidens,” said Mistress Sibyl. - Of course, we did not give the full, five-week version, but an abbreviated one ...

Terry Pratchett

Well, now the music.

I apologize for the possible "pop", but sometimes everyone knows and is the best ...

Wedding Chorus from the opera Lohengrin.

Overture to the opera "Tristan and Isolde" (begins with the permission of the famous "Tristan chord" ...).

Funeral March on the death of the protagonist Siegfried from the opera "The Death of the Gods" (the last in the cycle "Ring of the Nibelungs").

Overture to the opera "Parsifal", the last opera by Wagner - which is the prehistory of "Lohengrin".

And I won't even imagine. I can only say that it is from the opera Valkyrie, which is the second in The Ring ...

See you live!
