We brew strong green tea at the rate of 1 tbsp. for 1 cup of boiling water. Add 1 tsp. turmeric. Immerse banknotes in this liquid for no more than 1 minute! Don't overcook or you'll end up with orange dollars, not green dollars. We take out the bills and let it dry.

2) After the bills have dried, gently wipe the remnants of turmeric with a dry sponge or cotton cloth. Now you need to iron the money. We do this through gauze or fabric so that the paint does not pass to the sole of the iron.

If you plan to prepare banknotes for the main decor, then you need to put the ironed money under the press for several hours.

3) We are engaged in the preparation of the crane. In my case, I have a brass faucet, but it has a small nuance - it is without a spout. If you decide to take a faucet from an old faucet, you will face the same problem. To make a spout, you need to take a small piece of plastic pipe on an aluminum frame. Ideally, the diameter of the pipe should match the diameter of the inlet in the faucet itself. But my tube is a little narrower and in order to bring it to the required thickness, it is enough to make a few turns of electrical tape. I draw your attention to the fact that the pipe needs to be bent a little and it is better to do this before wrapping it with electrical tape. Irregularities after winding with electrical tape can be smoothed out with polymer clay.

5) It is necessary to paint the faucet. For painting we use paint in an aerosol.

6) While the faucet is drying, let's take care of the candy. Long candies are great for this composition. The length of the candy must match the width of the banknote. It is necessary to fix the tails of sweets. To do this, we take a narrow transparent adhesive tape and press the tails to the “body” of the candy with a small strip.

7) We wrap sweets in banknotes. We fix the end of the bill with glue.

8) We glue the money bundles to the cookie box, using hot glue. We stick tightly to each other.

9) Now you need to make a support for the crane. To do this, we need long wooden skewers for barbecue.

10) We take such a number of skewers that they fit snugly into the spout of the tap. Pour hot glue into the spout and insert the skewers with a sharp end. The skewers must be inserted deep enough.

11) We fix the structure to the cookie box. Squeeze out a large amount of hot glue in the center of the box. We insert skewers with a tap at the top into it. We are waiting for complete drying. After that, pour the glue again, but already with the call on the skewers. We are waiting for drying, once again pour the glue above the previous layer by a centimeter.

12) For the main decor, we need banknotes and golden chocolate coins.

13) We make "curly" banknotes. To do this, wind the bill on a pencil. It is best to do this diagonally.

14) We begin to glue the bills to the base of the faucet spout. Banknotes can be laid out as you please: glued together, glued to the base, etc.
